Abacus works with small circulation non-profit magazines ... and some of the largest consumer titles in Canada.
In recent years, Abacus's clients have included Alternatives Journal, AZURE, Canadian Art, Canadian Dimension, The Capilano Review, Cottage Life Media / Blue Ant Media, CV2, Gripped Publishing, Heritage Canada The National Trust, The Literary Review of Canada, Maisonneuve, Novalis, Opera Canada, Owlkids, Presbyterian Record, Ricardo (English), Rogers Media, Ski Canada, Small Farm Canada, St. Joseph Media, This Magazine, TorStar, Transcontinental / TC Media / TVA, and The Walrus.
Abacus has also led seminars for Magazines Canada, Manitoba Magazine Publishers' Association and Magazine Association of BC, and consulted for many other publishers through Magazines Canada's Travelling Consultants program, the Ontario Media Development Corporation, and Alberta Magazine Publishers Association's Pros on the Road program.
In 2011, Abacus also developed a course on magazine circulation marketing in the digital era for the Cultural Human Resources Council, and Abacus has written several informational "Hotsheets" for Magazines Canada's membership.
